University Center for the Development of the Language and Literacy (UCLL)

Volunteers enrich our programs offered at UCLL. Students at the University of Michigan as well as members of the community are invaluable as volunteers in our therapy programs for adults and children and our research program. UCLL provides innovative and intensive language and literacy intervention across the lifespan. We believe that volunteers benefit from working with both children and adults in our Center. Training is available to individuals working within the University of Michigan Aphasia Program (UMAP) as well as for children’s services offered during the summer. In addition, volunteers are needed to assist administrative staff in the areas of research, office work, and parent education.

Prior experience is not a requirement.

All volunteers must complete the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) training prior to volunteering at the Center.

Please fill out the following form in order to be considered as a volunteer at UCLL.
