You Can Help Fulfill Our Mission!
The services offered at the University of Michigan Aphasia Program are unique. The UMAP continues to be a leading resource in the country in providing state-of-the-art therapy to adults with aphasia and apraxia. Every day, thanks to the efforts of our expert and dedicated staff, we can see the results of our work as it transforms the lives of participants and their families. You can be an integral part of the UMAP’s important mission. Your contribution to the UMAP will help ensure that professional services are available to adults in need. You can choose to designate your contribution to the UMAP, or support the University Center for the Development of Language and Literacy (UCLL), the home of the UMAP, or UCLL’s Director’s Fund, which is used to support priority programs and services and meet needs as they arise.
As a donor, you can support the UMAP in a variety of ways:
-
Become a Friend of the UMAP or UCLL by making an annual contribution -
Establish a named/endowed fund in honor or remembrance of a special person -
Include the UMAP or UCLL in your estate plan -
Support a particular area of interest within the UMAP We are grateful to our donors and the many services and activities made possible by their generosity. As a friend of the UMAP, be assured that your gift will be used carefully and responsibly, and that we will work hard to remain deserving of your loyalty and support.
